Happy Wednesday!

It looks like it is a beautiful day outside. We have had a very busy day here at school. We took a semester test in Math today and it was a long one! I think that the students did a nice job!

The computer lab was closed today so, we had a lot of time in our room!

Here is what we did today:

Math: We took the semester math test and it was LONG.

Spelling: The workbook pages are due on Thursday.

Reading: In Mrs. D's class we finished our books today and we took the AR tests when we were finished.
Mr. H's class we read chapters 11, 12 and 13 in George Washington's Socks.

Science/Health: Mrs. D's class watched a video and Mr. H's class continued to work on the math semester test.
Both classes were given information on our annual Egg Drop contest. We are having this optional activity on May 26. It is a lot of fun, so encourage your child to give it a shot!

Social Studies: We began Swamp Fox.

English: Mrs. D's class worked on a paragraph correction sheet that Mr. H's class did yesterday.
We are also working on a writing prompt: What makes me feel safe?

* Reminder that Science Central permission slips and money are due ASAP. We need to get our numbers finalized. Remember that any parent who wants to attend is welcomed to come. When the bus is full we can have some parents car pool behind the bus. This is a great trip!
