Science: Today we reviewed for our test that will be on Tuesday. Pages 84-85, problems 1-8 all, 11, 13, 14-18 all were assigned for Tuesday. We have been discussing the circulatory system, heart, blood etc, the respiratory system, the digestive system, and the urinary system.

Social Studies: The states and capitols for the week are Virginia-Richmond, West Virginia-Charleston, Washington - Olympia, Wisconsin-Madison, Wyoming - Cheyenne. The quiz over the last five will be on Friday.
We continued to discuss the explorers today and also continued to complete our explorer chart.
The BIG complete states and capitols test will be on Wednesday before Thanksgiving

Spelling: We have a review list this week. We wrote our words three times each today for practice! The workbook pages 74-77 are due on Thursday. We will have a pretest tomorrow and a final test on Friday.

Reading: In Mrs. D's class we began a new book Number the Stars. We discussed some new vocabulary and began a KWL chart about WWII. This is an excellent book and we have already had some great discussions about this topic.

In Mr. H's class we are reading Snow Treasure chapters 3-4 and 5.

English/Writing: We had a prompt: What if cows gave rootbeer instead of milk?

Have a great evening!
