Happy Wednesday!

We hope you have had a great day! We have been pretty busy today!

Here is what we did:

Math: Today for math we began work on tessellations. We learned how some shapes can tessellate an area. We looked at Escher drawings and saw how he used tessellations to form some of his art. We also designed our own special pieces that we will use to tessellate an area.

Reading: In Mrs. D's class we worked on our reading projects.
In Mr. H's class we did a comprehension worksheet and we did pages 6 and 7 out of our practice book.

Science/Health: In Mrs. D's we discussed lesson 3 of chapter 6 and did a worksheet on vocabulary. In Mr. H's we continued to work on our tessellations so that Mrs. D's class could catch up.

Social Studies: Mrs. D's class we read through chapter 5 in George Washington's Socks. In Mr. H's class we worked on a contest piece for Notre Dame.

English: Mr. H is editing the 4th grade letters/essay.

Spelling: Workbook pages are due tomorrow. We also had a worksheet that is due tomorrow. Test on Friday.

Have a great evening.
